The Demonized Tea Party Did Not Riot

By Frances Rice

Since average Americans, like me, started the Tea Party Movement in 2009, advocating lower taxes, less government and protecting our Constitutional freedoms, the movement has been demonized by liberal Democrats, calling us racist and comparing us to the Ku Klux Klan, with the complicity of the mainstream media.
The Tea Party Movement has been targeted also for destruction by President Barack Obama, using the full force of the federal government, especially the IRS.
In the face of such abuse, Tea Party Movement participants have never engaged in riots, nor staged protests designed to shut down any Democratic Party rally.
Further, conservatives in general and Republicans in particular are routinely subjected to hateful rhetoric by Democratic Party leaders and operatives, as well as their liberal media allies. Below are but a few examples.
An expose of how  liberals behave while targeting conservatives is contained in the book by Jonah Goldberg entitled “Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Change.”

According to promotional materials for this book, the title is from a quote of the impeccable progressive, H.G. Wells, who, in 1932, told the Young Liberals that they must become "liberal fascists" and "enlightened Nazis."

Although Democrats regularly engage in fascist-style class warfare and identity politics to divide us along racial and gender lines to win elections, the mainstream media has never demanded that Democrats tone down their rhetoric.
In Chicago, because of the fascist-style tactics of liberals, Mr. Trump was denied his Constitutional right to freedom of speech and the American citizens who wanted to attend his rally were denied their Constitutional right to freedom of assembly.

“In addition to their vow to blow up Obamacare and shut down the American government this September, they’re also moving to block an increase in the debt ceiling. That means the government wouldn’t be able to pay its bills, wouldn’t be able to pay its debts, would go into default. The consequences — it would destroy the United States credit rating, of course, and send us spiraling into default. This is Cruz’s operation here, by the way, and his allies’ operation. This is more than just obstructionism, this is political terrorism.

… I believe it’s terrorism.”
- Chris Matthews

“Paul Ryan, who teamed up with Akin in the House to sponsor harsh anti-abortion bills, may look young and hip and new generation, with his iPod full of heavy metal jams and his cute kids. But he’s just a fresh face on a Taliban creed — the evermore antediluvian, anti-women, anti-immigrant, anti-gay conservative core. Amiable in khakis and polo shirts, Ryan is the perfect modern leader to rally medieval Republicans who believe that Adam and Eve cavorted with dinosaurs.”
